Raising a thoughtful child in the age of AI.
Understand who your child is becoming. See what matters this week. Follow a roadmap that grows with them — grounded in developmental research, shaped by the GETIT framework.

AI is rewriting work. Schools are slow to adapt. Social media answers too fast. Parents are left stitching together advice from strangers, test-prep companies, and algorithmic feeds — carrying a quiet anxiety about a future nobody seems to have a clear map for. TIE Academy is for the parent who wants to navigate that uncertainty with judgment, warmth, and evidence behind every claim.
The TIE Academy mission.
Think Boldly. Act Ethically. Lead Globally.

Signature methodology
GETIT — five lenses we use to make the world teachable.
Who holds power, who moves, and what that means for the world your child will inherit.
Incentives, trade, jobs, inflation — the forces that shape the choices families and countries make.
AI, systems, innovation — not the headlines, but the underlying shifts changing how people learn and work.
Markets, capital, risk — understanding how decisions and money move together over time.
Every lesson ends in a real, age-calibrated action. Understanding without action is a hobby.
Every Sunday
A quiet nudge. Not another notification.
Once a week, you get a short note about your child — what the roadmap focused on, one question worth sitting with, and one thing to try before next Sunday. No streaks. No badges. No pressure to perform parenthood.
TIE Academy
This week with [Child] — one small notice, one question.
A gentle Sunday read from TIE Academy.
This week
- Curiosity pattern: three "why" questions about fairness in a row.
- A restlessness in routines — worth watching, not worrying about yet.
- First unprompted money question — a doorway.
Question worth sitting with
When your child asks "why is that fair?", are they asking about rules, or about something deeper?
This week's GETIT kit
A small election, at home.

A note from Sam Ahn, founder
We built the platform we wished existed for our own children.
The world our children will inherit is not the world we were trained for. I was trained to solve for the test, the school, the résumé — and I watched, as a parent and as an educator, how quickly those lanes started to feel narrow. TIE Academy is an attempt to build something wider: a steady, research-grounded way for families to think about childhood in the age of AI without losing sight of the child.
The platform will not tell you what your child should be. It will help you see, clearly and a little more slowly, who your child is becoming — and what a thoughtful next step looks like. That's the work. That's what we wish we had.
— Sam
Frequently asked
Questions parents ask before they start.
Is this an admissions tool?
No. Admissions outcomes are a by-product of a well-raised child, not the goal. The platform helps you understand development, interests, and habits — not build a college pitch.
Does the AI diagnose?
Never. The AI is grounded in developmental research (CDC, AAP, WHO, NIMH, NICHD, ASHA, UNICEF) and uses non-diagnostic language by design. If something suggests a clinical question, the assistant names it and points you toward a professional.
Is it available in Korean?
Yes. Korean is a peer locale, not a translation. The interface uses 존댓말 throughout, and AI guidance is written in Korean with the same care as English. Spanish and Chinese are on the roadmap.
What ages is this for?
The platform is built first for ages 4–12, with content extending through high school as the child grows. Parents of younger and older children use the same core loop — the tone and activities shift.
What happens if I cancel during the 7-day trial?
You keep the Initial Report PDF you generated. The in-app reader stays available for that report. Re-subscribing at any point reactivates the existing report — we don't regenerate it.
Is my child's data safe?
Yes. We never sell data. We never use your child's profile to train public models. Access is limited, audited, and deletable on request. See Privacy for the full policy.
