- We send a gentle reminder on day 5 before the card is charged.
Goodwill rule
If you cancel during the trial, you keep the Initial Report PDF you generated. The in-app reader stays available for that report. The guide-style AI goes back to free-tier behavior. If you re-subscribe later, the existing report reactivates — we don't regenerate it.
Pricing — frequently asked
- What's the difference between Individual and Family?
- Individual ($29/mo or $290/yr) supports one child profile. Family ($49/mo or $490/yr) supports up to three children on a single parent account, each with their own Spec, Initial Report, and weekly roadmap. The per-child math: Family at three children is $16/child/mo, versus $29 on Individual. Most KR-AM families with siblings save by starting on Family from day one.
- What happens if I cancel during the 7-day trial?
- You keep the Initial Report PDF you generated, and the in-app reader stays open to you. We don't take back the thinking. Your card isn't charged. If you re-subscribe later, the same Initial Report reactivates — we never regenerate it (one-shot per child).
- Is a credit card required for the trial?
- Yes. The 7-day trial unlocks Initial Report generation on Day 0 — a premium artifact — so we require card-on-file. You can cancel any time during those 7 days and pay nothing. We send a reminder email 24 hours before conversion so you're never surprised by the charge.
- Can my spouse share my account?
- Yes. Co-parent invitations are built into both Individual and Family — your spouse gets read access to the Spec, the Initial Report, and the weekly roadmap from their own account, with a separate email and password. No extra cost. The invite flow lives at /settings once you've subscribed.
- What does Premium actually unlock that Free doesn't?
- Three things. First, the full one-shot Initial Report (an evidence-grounded developmental portrait, downloadable PDF + in-app reader) — gated behind the trial. Second, the adaptive weekly roadmap that evolves with your child's age, language profile, and learning style — Free shows the current week only. Third, unlimited premium AI assistant grounded in your child's Spec.
- What if I have four or more children?
- Email sam@tie.school. We don't yet have a per-N-child pricing tier — Family caps at three — but parents with four or more kids get a direct conversation with the founder. Expected volume is small enough that this is a personal-touch path, not a self-serve flow.
