Is this an admissions tool?

No. TIE Academy is a parent-facing developmental guidance platform, not a college admissions tool. The Initial Report describes who your child is becoming — it does not build a résumé pitch.

Question 2

Does the AI diagnose?

Accepted Answer

Never. The AI is grounded in developmental research from the CDC, AAP, WHO, NIMH, NICHD, ASHA, UNICEF, and OECD. It is non-diagnostic by design — it describes parent-reported observations alongside research context, and refers families to qualified professionals when warranted.

Question 3

Is it available in Korean?

Yes. Korean is a peer locale, not a translation — the platform speaks Korean in 존댓말 (honorific) register and addresses parents as 부모님. Spanish and Chinese are on the roadmap.

What ages is this for?

Accepted Answer

Ages 4–12 are the primary focus today, with V2 expanding to ages 14–17. We use age brackets — 3-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, and 14-17 — to keep content stage-appropriate as children grow.

Question 5

What happens if I cancel during the 7-day trial?

Accepted Answer

You keep the Initial Report PDF as a goodwill artifact. The in-app reader stays available. If you re-subscribe later, the existing report reactivates — no regeneration needed.

Question 6

Is my child's data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your data travels over TLS, and your child’s profile is encrypted before it is written to our database. We never sell it. We never use it to train public AI models. Identity is scrubbed before AI inference. Named subprocessors — Clerk for auth, Stripe for billing, and Anthropic for AI inference among them — each with a signed DPA on file.
