LEGO Civics: AI & Robots
Build a city in LEGO, then bring in AI — a week where kids become citizens, run a society and economy, and discover what stays uniquely human.
About this program
A week-long, in-person summer day camp for Elementary builders in Grades 1–5, taught 100% in English. Children first build a city and a society from scratch in LEGO — becoming citizens, forming a government, and running their own currency and economy. Then AI and robots arrive to power the city's future, as kids explore the question at the camp's heart: what stays uniquely human when machines can do the rest? We mix ages on purpose, with near-peer teaching assistants, so older kids grow as leaders and younger kids reach higher. No English level is required — children grow their English naturally by building and explaining what they make. The camp grows the capacities AI can't automate: collaboration, empathy, and the judgment to decide what technology should do.
Who this is for
A great fit for a curious child who questions how things work and isn't afraid to share an idea or be wrong. This is not an English-drill academy and there's no level test — kids even eat lunch and clean up on their own. We look for families who believe education must evolve and want to join the conversation about the world their child is growing into.
